Why a re-check and not a subscription

You should be able to stop.

A subscription assumes you will keep needing it. A re-check assumes the opposite: that in twelve weeks something will have changed, and the honest thing is to look again rather than to keep sending you material.

So the year is bought once. There is nothing to cancel, and if a re-check comes back with everything seen for that age, the card says so and offers no plan at all.

The library covers all five areas now. What the year still needs is the quarterly re-check itself, which does not exist yet. The check is free and works today; card holders are told first.

How the year runs

Four times, twelve weeks apart

What it costs to run

Nothing, past the first shopping list.

The activities use household objects, and the buy list across a whole year is short and honestly priced. The most expensive thing in it is usually a ball.

For comparison, the products this replaces run to $80 a kit every two months, $110 a month for a boxed curriculum, or $70 to $120 a year for an app. This is bought once.
