What is collected, and what is not
One email address, one consent record, no cookies, no analytics, and nothing sold to anybody. The detail is below because the summary should be checkable.
The whole thing in four lines
One thing is collected, and you type it. Your email address. Nothing else is asked for, and there is no account to create.
There are no cookies and no analytics. This site sets no cookies, runs no tracking scripts, and loads nothing from an advertising network. Fonts and images are served from this domain, not from a third party.
Nothing is sold or rented. Ever. Your address is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or other publishers. It is used to send you the file you asked for and, occasionally, to tell you a new free sheet exists.
Leaving takes one click. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and it keeps working. Ask and the record is deleted outright rather than merely suppressed.
1. Who is responsible for your information
This site is operated by Vivifye LLC, a Florida limited liability company trading as Fawn Scholar. Vivifye LLC is the party that decides what is collected and why.
Reach a human at hello@fawnscholar.com. That address is read by the person who writes the material.
2. What is collected, and why
Only two categories exist, and both come from the same act of signing up.

The IP hash is a salted SHA-256. The original address is never written to the database and cannot be recovered from the hash.
There is no tracking pixel in the emails. Whether you opened one is not recorded.
3. What is not collected
No cookies are set by this site. No analytics or advertising script runs on it. No social-media button, embedded video, or third-party font is loaded, so no other company learns that you visited.
Your name is not asked for. Your child’s name, sex, birth date and health are not asked for and must not be sent — there is nowhere on this site to enter them and no reason to.
The Readiness Check is the one place you tell this site anything about your child, and it is worth being exact about what happens there. You choose an age band — three, three and a half, four, four and a half, or five — and answer up to thirty-eight yes/not-yet questions. All of that stays in your browser. The card is drawn on your own device, and the whole set of answers is compressed into a short code that lives in the page address. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for the card by email.
If you do ask for it by email, that code travels inside the signed link so the confirmation click can draw the same card. It is not written to the database, and it is not kept after the link is used. If you buy a plan, the one thing recorded is which of the twenty-six plans you bought — the two areas it covers — because a shop that cannot say what it sold cannot re-send it. Your answers themselves are never stored.
No payment information passes through this site.
4. The legal basis, in plain terms
Your address is processed because you asked for the file — you gave consent by entering it and confirming by email. The consent record exists because Vivifye LLC has a legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate that consent, and because email providers expect a sender to be able to.
You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything that already happened, or your right to keep and use files you already have.
5. Who else can see it
A few companies are involved, each because a specific job has to happen somewhere.
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and stores the database and the files. Your address sits in a Cloudflare D1 database.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) transmits the confirmation, the card and any receipt. It necessarily receives your address in order to deliver to it.
- Stripe, Inc. takes the payment if you buy something, and is the merchant of record. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own pages and never touch this site.
- Your own mailbox provider, which receives and stores the message as it would any other.
None of these is permitted to use your address for its own marketing. Nobody else receives it. It is not sold, rented, bartered, or contributed to a shared list, and it will not be — including if this business is ever sold, without telling you first and giving you the chance to leave.
The only other circumstance in which information would be handed over is a valid legal demand from a court or a law-enforcement agency with jurisdiction.
6. Where it is stored
On Cloudflare infrastructure, which is distributed across many countries. If you are outside the United States, your address is processed in the United States and possibly elsewhere. Vivifye LLC is a United States company.
7. How long it is kept
- If you never confirm — the pending record is deleted after 30 days. Nothing further is ever sent to it.
- If you confirm — for as long as you stay on the list, plus the consent record for as long as the address is held.
- If you unsubscribe — the address is marked unsubscribed and kept in that state, so that it cannot be accidentally re-added by a later import. That is the only reason it is retained.
- If you ask for deletion — everything is removed within 30 days, including the consent record.
8. What you can ask for
These rights are honoured for everyone who writes in, regardless of where you live and regardless of whether a particular statute happens to apply to a business this size.
- A copy of everything held about you.
- Correction of anything wrong.
- Deletion of all of it.
- To stop receiving email, immediately, without explaining why.
- To object to any of it, and be told plainly what happens next.
Write to hello@fawnscholar.com from the address in question, or from another address naming the one you mean. Expect a reply within a few days and completion within 30. There is no charge, and no account or form to fill in.
Nobody is treated differently for exercising any of this. There is no price to pay for leaving, because there is no price at all.
9. Children
This site is for adults. Nothing on it is directed at children. A child’s name, birth date and photograph are neither requested nor knowingly collected, and there is nowhere to enter them.
The Readiness Check does ask about a child — an age band and what you have seen them do — because that is the entire point of it. It runs in your browser and is not stored on a server; section 3 sets out exactly what travels and when. No account is created, no profile is built, and the answers are not retained after they have produced your card.
The observation pages inside the material are yours. They are printed on paper, filled in by hand, and never uploaded anywhere.
If you believe a child under 13 has given an email address here, write in and it will be deleted immediately.
10. Security, stated honestly
Everything is served over HTTPS. Download links are cryptographically signed and expire, so a copied link cannot be handed around indefinitely and a guessed one does not work at all. IP addresses are hashed before storage. Access to the database is limited to the operator.
What cannot be promised is perfect security, by anyone. What can be promised is that the amount of information held is kept small enough that a breach would expose an email address and a timestamp, and nothing else. If a breach ever affects you, you will be told directly.
11. Changes to this notice
If this changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, the new version is posted here with a new date, and anyone on the list is told by email before it takes effect. Older versions are available on request.
